Automatic, manual, semiautomatic, CVT, and dual-clutch systems included. All labor and parts contributions managed

Full coverage of axles, crown wheels, planet gears, half shafts, prop shafts, and differential internals. Consequential damage may also be considered.

Repair or replacement costs included, subject to authorised garage diagnostics.

Fuel pumps, injectors, throttle bodies, pressure regulators included. Drive Safe Warranty provides guidance and approvals.

Hydraulic/electric steering systems, wishbones, shock absorbers, anti-roll bars, and top mounts included.

Radiator, oil cooler, thermostats, water pumps, HVAC components covered. Authorised garage invoices required.

Includes factory-fitted modules, anti-lock brakes, engine management ECUs.

Drive motors, high-voltage inverters, onboard chargers, and power delivery modules included.

Contribution towards vehicle battery failure may be considered under the Platinum plan subject to claim approval

Covered Components

This Warranty Plan covers the repair or replacement of covered mechanical and electrical components that suffer a sudden mechanical or electrical failure, subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions outlined in this agreement.

Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Systems

The following EV and Hybrid-specific components are covered:

  • Electric drive motors
  • Reduction gearbox / EV transmission
  • Power inverter
  • Power electronics controller
  • On-board charger (OBC)
  • DC–DC converter
  • Vehicle control module
  • High-voltage battery pack (HVB) failure
  • Battery Management System (BMS) and cell monitoring systems
  • High-voltage junction box (PDU) and contactors
  • High-voltage cables, busbars and connectors
  • Vehicle charge port / charge inlet assemblies
  • EV-specific control electronics
  • Isolation monitoring systems and high-voltage safety systems
  • Thermal management systems for battery and drive components
  • Heat exchangers and EV cooling systems
  • Regenerative braking systems and brake-by-wire components (excluding brake pads and discs)

  • Remote key fobs and key cards (excluding batteries)

What Is Not Covered

Service, Maintenance & Consumable Items

The following routine service and maintenance items are excluded:

  • Brake pads, discs, drums and friction materials
  • Tyres and wheel balancing or alignment
  • Bulbs, fuses and wiper blades
  • Spark plugs and glow plugs
  • Filters of any type
  • Fluids, lubricants, oils, coolant and air conditioning gas
  • Auxiliary drive belts and routine service items
  • Perishable rubber items

These items form part of normal vehicle maintenance and remain the responsibility of the vehicle owner.

Electrical and Electronic Exclusions

The following are excluded from cover:

  • 12-volt batteries
  • Software updates or software reprogramming (unless required due to the failure of a covered component)
  • Tracker systems and aftermarket electronics
  • Heating elements and non-integral wiring
  • Light units and bulbs
Bodywork & Trim

This warranty does not cover:

  • Paintwork or body panels
  • Interior trim, upholstery, seats or carpets
  • Panoramic roofs, sunroofs, glass, or weather seals
  • Wheels or cosmetic items
Wear, Negligence & Driver Abuse

The following are excluded:

  • Damage caused by negligence, misuse, or driver abuse
  • Incorrect or contaminated fuel, oils, lubricants or fluids
  • Overheating caused by lack of maintenance
  • Failure to service the vehicle according to manufacturer guidelines
Ancillary & Environmental Damage

The warranty does not cover:

  • Water ingress or flooding
  • Corrosion, oxidation or contamination
  • Carbon build-up or emissions-related faults
  • Accidental damage or impact damage caused by foreign objects
EV Battery & Charging Exclusions

The following are excluded from cover:

  • Gradual reduction in high-voltage battery capacity
  • Charging cables and external charging equipment
  • Damage caused by incompatible charging equipment
  • Battery degradation due to age, mileage or usage
  • Batteries already covered under a manufacturer warranty

All repairs, component coverage and contributions described within this plan are subject to the DriveSafe Warranty Ltd Terms & Conditions and eligibility criteria.

DriveSafe Warranty Ltd provides discretionary vehicle warranty plans. The approval of any repair, payment or contribution is not guaranteed and is assessed on an individual claim basis.

All claims must be:

• Reported to DriveSafe Warranty Ltd immediately when a fault occurs

• Authorised by DriveSafe Warranty Ltd before any repair work begins

• Supported by diagnostic reports and invoices from a VAT-registered garage where required

DriveSafe Warranty Ltd reserves the right to:

• Request further diagnostics or inspection

• Supply replacement parts where appropriate

• Limit labour rates where excessive
